Rut'theran Village

Rut'theran Village is a coastal haven nestled at the southern base of Teldrassil. Serving as the primary maritime harbor for Darnassus, it connects the secluded World Tree to the mainland of Kalimdor via ferry and hippogryph routes.

Perched at the water's edge below the towering heights of Teldrassil, Rut'theran Village acts as the threshold between the night elven capital and the wider world. While Darnassus rests within the boughs high above, Rut'theran provides the logistical foundation required to sustain it. A mystical portal arches beneath the trees, whisking travelers between the shore and Darnassus in an instant. For journeys across the sea, ferry service runs from the village docks directly to Auberdine on the mainland of Darkshore, accompanied by flight masters tending dedicated roosts of trained hippogryphs.
