Orgrimmar
Orgrimmar is the formidable warrior capital of the New Horde, carved into the winding red canyons of northern Durotar. Founded by Warchief Thrall and named in memory of Orgrim Doomhammer, it serves as the beating heart of orcish renewal and intertribal survival on Kalimdor.
A Stronghold in the Stone
Following the Third War and the victory at Mount Hyjal, Warchief Thrall brought his surviving people south to establish a permanent homeland in Durotar. Nestled into a natural barrier of sheer mountain crags, Orgrimmar was engineered to withstand siege, boasting spiked timber palisades, stone watchtowers, and deep mountain-carved caverns. Built in cooperation with the Darkspear trolls, tauren stonemasons, and goblin engineers, the fortress turned a desolate wilderness into an unassailable bastion of strength.
Heart of the New Horde
Free of the demonic bloodlust that once bound them, the orcs built Orgrimmar as a beacon of honor, community, and survival. Today in 25 ADP, the city houses not only orcs and Darkspear trolls, but also welcomes emissaries from the tauren of Mulgore and emissaries from the newly allied Forsaken. Within its fortified canyons, shamans instruct the next generation in ancestral balance, while veterans clash in gladiatorial rings to hone the army that shields the fragile peace of Kalimdor.
