Mor'shan Rampart

The Mor'shan Rampart is a heavily fortified Horde barricade positioned at the northern border of the Barrens, guarding the entrance to Ashenvale. Constructed primarily by the Warsong clan, it shields Horde territory from night elf counterattacks while serving as a staging ground for incursions deeper into the forest.

Standing at the northern terminus of the Gold Road, the Mor'shan Rampart marks the transition between the arid plains of the Barrens and the ancient canopies of Ashenvale. Built from heavy timber, defensive palisades, and fortified watchtowers, this bulwark was raised to stem the retaliatory strikes of night elven forces outraged by the Horde's logging operations. It acts both as a shield securing the northern gate to Kalimdor's interior and as a forward staging post for raiding parties pushing north toward Astranaar.
