Broken Samophlange

The samophlange remains one of the stranger contraptions found throughout the northern Barrens. Even when broken, the mechanism exhibits remarkable internal craftsmanship, filled with moving assemblies and fine gears. The Ratchet goblin Sputtervalve accidentally damaged the delicate apparatus before its full operation could be documented. Eager to deliver working results to curious colleagues in Undermine, the finder sought someone skilled enough to restore it, turning to Wenikee Boltbucket—a clever tinkerer stationed near the border outpost of Mor'shan Rampart.

Upon examining the ruined apparatus, even an inquisitive mind like Wenikee's cannot immediately deduce what a samophlange is actually designed to do. However, the tantalizing sounds of internal clockwork and its dynamic motion immediately draw her interest. Rather than discarding the ruined junk, the mystery of its design inspires an attempt to repair it and witness its mechanisms working at full capacity.
