Dormitory

The Dormitory is a residential sector within the fallen technological capital of Gnomeregan. Once providing living quarters for countless gnome citizens, it now lies choked with radioactive fallout and crawls with savage, irradiated troggs.

Situated just past the decontamination chambers of the Clean Zone, the Dormitory formerly housed the inventors, laborers, and families of Gnomeregan. When High Tinker Mekkatorque initiated the emergency radiation venting to combat the invading trogg horde, this densely populated sector became a trap. Today, its communal halls and living units are completely abandoned by gnomish life, occupied instead by mutated troggs that thrive in the radioactive miasma. Travelers descending toward the lower levels of the city must fight through this tragic reminder of the catastrophe to reach the lower Hall of Gears.
