Prismatic Punch Card
The Prismatic Punch Card is the highest security clearance data card found within the fallen city of Gnomeregan. Upgraded sequentially through a series of Matrix Punchograph terminals, it holds data desperately sought by gnome refugees in Ironforge.
A Matter of Security
When the gnomes fled the trogg invasion and toxic irradiation of Gnomeregan, massive troves of research and civic records were abandoned in the depths. To safeguard high-level systems, the gnomes utilized an escalating security protocol. Accessing the Matrix Punchograph 3005-D terminal in the lower Engineering Labs requires working through a progression of punch cards: starting from a basic White Punch Card and advancing through Yellow, Blue, and Red clearances at dedicated terminals before stamping the final Prismatic Punch Card. Its encoded clearance level is whimsically noted as pending the invention of an entirely new number.
