Clean Zone

The Clean Zone is a fortified, decontamination enclave nestled inside the ruined city of Gnomeregan just past the upper Hall of Gears. It serves as the sole safe haven within the irradiated facility where uncorrupted gnomish forces hold ground against surrounding troggs and leper gnomes. Here, field medics, technicians, and specialized Sparklematic machines offer respite and salvage operations amid the radioactive ruins.

While most of Gnomeregan succumbed to Mekkatorque's disastrous venting of radioactive waste, the Clean Zone remains untainted. Positioned strategically between the trogg-infested Dormitory below and the contested corridors of the Hall of Gears above, it acts as a fortified forward base. Resolute gnome defenders, technicians, and field medics hold the barricades day and night, ensuring Alliance expeditions have a stable staging ground to regroup, mend wounds, and maintain machinery.
