Commons

The Commons serves as the vibrant commercial heart of Ironforge, connecting the city entrance directly to its vast caverns. Teeming with merchants, travelers, and bankers, it is the busiest thoroughfare in the dwarven capital and the central marketplace for the entire Alliance.

Located just northeast of the Gates of Ironforge, the Commons is the first district that greets travelers entering the mountain kingdom. Carved directly out of the stone, this bustling market street houses the primary Alliance Auction House, the Stonefire Tavern, and the city's central bank within the Vault of Ironforge. Broad avenues connect it seamlessly to the Great Forge, the Mystic Ward, and the Military Ward, ensuring that nearly all foot traffic in the mountain passes through its bustling storefronts.
