Mystic Ward

The story

The Mystic Ward is the northwestern district of Ironforge, serving as the dwarven capital's quiet sanctuary for spiritual devotion and arcane study. Distinguishable by its cool, pale blue banners and quiet halls, it stands in stark contrast to the clanging anvils of the nearby Great Forge. Its grandest structure, the Hall of Mysteries, gathers priests, paladins, and mages beneath cavernous stone arches.

While dwarves are famed across Azeroth for their prowess at the forge and on the battlefield, the Mystic Ward represents the kingdom's quieter intellectual and spiritual pursuits. Marked by pale blue heraldry, this cavernous quarter connects the bustling Commons to the Forlorn Cavern and the Great Forge. Within its reaches, merchants supply scholars and spellweavers with regalia, scrolls, and alchemical reagents from shops like The Fighting Wizard and Maeva's Mystical Apparel. Dominating the district is the majestic Hall of Mysteries, where the holy disciplines of the Holy Light intersect with the practiced arts of arcane magic, offering guidance to those who wield unseen powers in defense of the Alliance.
