Grand Mason Marblesten
Grand Mason Marblesten is an esteemed dwarven stonemason stationed in the busy Commons of Ironforge. Deeply devoted to the royal legacy of Khaz Modan, he has been commissioned by King Magni Bronzebeard to build a memorial to Sully Balloo, a dwarven soldier who died in the Thandol Span tragedy. Adventurers often meet him when assisting with the materials needed to complete this solemn tribute.
Master of the Stone
Dwarven stonemasonry is not merely a trade; it is an enduring art form that shapes the very soul of Ironforge. Grand Mason Marblesten stands among the city's foremost masters of the chisel, representing the centuries-old tradition of carving halls, pillars, and great effigies straight from the living mountain. Based in the Commons, he oversees civic projects and commemorative monuments that immortalize Bronzebeard history.
A King's Tribute
Marblesten's most poignant task is a memorial King Magni commissioned for Sully Balloo, a soldier who died in the Thandol Span tragedy, as a tribute to his grieving widow. Wanting a truly lasting piece, the Grand Mason insists on one of the finest stones available: Alterac Granite from Darrow Hill in Hillsbrad.
