Occupying the southwestern terrace of the subterranean capital, the Apothecarium is a labyrinth of bubbling vats, dissection tables, and pungent chemical fumes. Led by Master Apothecary Faranell, the Royal Apothecary Society utilizes this district to advance their understanding of mortality and rot. Here, alchemists and surgeons experiment on tissue grafts, vivisection, and the assembly of mighty abominations. Their overriding purpose, mandated by Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, is the formulation of a new plague capable of eradicating both the Scourge and the lingering human presence across Lordaeron.
