Nat Pagle

Nat Pagle is widely hailed as the most renowned angler in all of Azeroth, despite claiming he only fishes as an excuse to drink heavily. He makes his home on a secluded inlet in Dustwallow Marsh, where he trains elite anglers from both the Alliance and the Horde who manage to prove their patience.

The Master Angler

Though his name is synonymous with angling mastery across the known world, Nat Pagle is remarkably casual about his craft. Having cast lines for several decades, he often admits he has no great reverence for the sport itself, famously calling it little more than a convenient excuse to sit back and drink heavily. Despite this gruff nonchalance, Nat understands aquatic life and the art of angling better than anyone alive, even licensing fishing gear sought out by professionals.

A Marshland Hermit

Pagle makes his camp on a small spit of land along the eastern coast of Dustwallow Marsh, far from the bustling taverns of the Eastern Kingdoms. He remains fiercely independent and uninterested in the politics of factions, welcoming Alliance travelers sent by trainers like Grimnur Stonebrand as well as Horde aspirants directed to him by Lumak in Orgrimmar. For Nat, anyone willing to scour the corners of the world for rare specimens deserves a lesson in genuine angling.

Old Tales and Sea Monsters

Pagle has ventured into perilous waters, including an excursion into the ruins of Zul'Gurub where he misplaced his favorite measuring tape and tackle box near the waters prowled by the monstrous hydra Gahz'ranka.
