Whispering Forest

The Whispering Forest is a secluded, mountainous woodland nestled behind the steep cliffs west of Deathknell. Largely cut off from the rest of Tirisfal Glades, it harbors uncanny wildlife, a mysterious fairy circle, and deep-seated corruption sleeping far beneath the soil.

Tucked away behind Northface Rock and Bandarion Keep, the Whispering Forest feels entirely alienated from the surrounding plague-touched kingdom. While it contains afflicted deer and roaming predators, it also features a tranquil lake and a strange ring of giant mushrooms, glowing with an uncanny energy beneath a hovering cloud of mist. The ghostly Knight of Mourning wanders the fairy circle, bound there by oath, amid a natural magic that seems to defy the Scourge-ruined land.
