Sar'theris Strand

Running the length of western Desolace, Sar'theris Strand offers a bizarre respite from the ash and dust of the inland plains. Here, the clifftops and beaches are bright and green. Yet the strand is far from welcoming: serpentine naga patrol the surf alongside towering sea giants and territorial makrura. Shipwrecks litter the shoals, including the ruined Karnitol vessel to the north and small shattered skiffs beneath the towers of Ethel Rethor, proving the sea is as treacherous as the shore.

Beyond the constant threat of naga and giants, the waters off the strand are known among seasoned travelers for their peculiar bounties. The jagged coastal shallows conceal salvage from lost expeditions and merchant ventures, while the deep surf is home to rare marine wildlife, notably the prized Sar'theris Striker fish sought out by master fishermen across Kalimdor.
