In Stormwind's busy district, the skilled blacksmith Furen Longbeard uses obscure metallurgical techniques that blend beast parts with rare reagents. Furen demands fifty scorched fangs from the giant arachnids of the marshlands, utilizing their dense, venomous, and naturally toughened composition to reinforce mail links during the tempering process.

These fangs are harvested directly from the lethal arachnids inhabiting the sunken valleys and burrows of the Wetlands, notably Cave Stalkers and Leech Stalkers. Despite the damp, rotting environment of the marsh, these predators possess peculiarly hardened, scorched mandibles. Gathering them in the quantities Furen demands requires venturing into deep hollows and clearing out entire swarms of monstrous vermin.
