Charred Horn
Charred Horns are the rugged, heat-baked horns harvested from youthful chimaeras dwelling in the crags of the Stonetalon Mountains. Tough enough to withstand harsh elemental forces, they serve as an essential tempering component in specialized armorsmithing.
A Rare Smithing Component
Harvested from fledgling and young chimaeras nesting across the craggy heights of the Stonetalon Mountains, Charred Horns are coveted for their unnatural resistance to flame and blunt force. The dwarven armorsmith Furen Longbeard, working from his forge in Stormwind, requires a collection of these horns to craft fire-hardened mail. Combined with venomous spider fangs from the Wetlands, phlogiston from Razorfen Kraul, and the galvanized horn of a chimaera matriarch, these calcified horns provide the core structural reinforcement necessary to produce an exceptionally resilient suit of protective armor.
