WoW Forever Stonetalon Mountains Guide: Sun Rock Retreat, Windshear Crag and the Charred Vale
Stonetalon Mountains is a contested mountain zone in Kalimdor in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), with beta-client areas set at levels 15 to 25, Sun Rock Retreat as the Horde hub, Stonetalon Peak as the Alliance flight point and no dungeon inside its borders. Forever Codex, a community database that reads the beta client, says the game files show no changes to the zone's map, areas, flight paths or dungeons.
Quick answer: Horde players come from the Barrens and work Sun Rock Retreat and Malaka'jin; Alliance players come from Astranaar in Ashenvale and work the Webwinder Path camp. The Venture Company's goblins work around Windshear Crag and Windshear Mine.

Warcraft Wiki describes the range as the traditional homeland of the harpies, with Stonetalon Peak sacred to night elves and tauren and Venture Company goblins cutting down the trees at Windshear Crag.

What can the Alliance do at Webwinder Path and Stonetalon Peak?
The Alliance works from a small camp on the Webwinder Path. What is the story of Stonetalon Mountains?
Warcraft Wiki's Classic and main pages overlap on the outline. The range is the traditional homeland of the harpies, though their numbers have dwindled, and Stonetalon Peak is sacred to night elves and tauren. Warcraft Wiki's Classic page says the Venture Company is cutting down almost all the trees in Windshear Crag, with soot in the air and oil and waste fouling the water. The Classic page calls Charred Vale a desolate ruin full of fire elementals, holding several especially dangerous beasts and elementals. The Grimtotem, renegade tauren, seized a village near the Barrens border. To see how the night elves and tauren came to share these peaks, read the night elves history. The free Lore Forever add-on adds readable background at each camp, and the optional Willo companion answers lore questions by voice.
