WoW Forever Maraudon: Level, Entrances, Bosses and Quests in Desolace
Maraudon is a five-player dungeon in the Valley of Spears in Desolace in World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever), entered through a stone door at about 38, 58 and ending with Princess Theradras. Warcraft Tavern's Forever guide lists nine bosses and ten quests, but says the guide is based on WoW Classic because Maraudon was not playable in the beta.
Quick answer: Go to the Valley of Spears in Desolace, pass the stone door, then choose the orange side, the purple side or the middle gate. Warcraft Tavern gives levels 45 to 55 and lists nine bosses, one of them rare. Sources differ on levels and on the boss count.

Maraudon is built around an old wound in Desolace: a son of Cenarius, a centaur tribe and an earth elemental princess, according to Warcraft Wiki. The dungeon gives you two crystal-lined paths and a shortcut, and the sources agree it is a long run through all of them.

What level is Maraudon in WoW Forever?
Warcraft Tavern's Maraudon guide says 46 to 55, while its dungeon list says 45 to 51. Warcraft Wiki gives 45 to 52 for Classic, and WoW Is Classic, a 2019 page, advises 45 to 52 with a minimum of 30. Kami Labs, reading the beta client data on October 10, lists a Group Finder level of 42 and an Entry level of 25, without explaining how they apply. Use 45 as the safe floor in a group until Blizzard publishes a range. The dungeons overview lists the others.
Who are the Maraudon bosses?
Warcraft Tavern lists nine: Tinkerer Gizlock, Lord Vyletongue, Noxxion, Razorlash, Celebras the Cursed, Meshlok the Harvester (rare), Landslide, Rotgrip and Princess Theradras. Warcraft Tavern groups them by area: the purple side, the orange side, Poison Falls and Earth Song Falls. Warcraft Wiki names three wings: Wicked Grotto, Foulspore Cavern and Earth Song Falls. WoW Is Classic lists 12 names, including the centaur khans Veng and Maraudos and the quest NPC Elder Splitrock, so the counts do not match.
What is the Scepter of Celebras?
Warcraft Tavern says the Scepter of Celebras comes from a quest after defeating Celebras the Cursed and lets a group skip the Orange, Purple and Poison Falls sections. Warcraft Wiki says the Scepter was required before patch 3.0.8. The middle gate and Scepter spot sit in a room with four braziers behind Spirit of Kolk, per Warcraft Tavern.
Which quests belong to Maraudon?
Warcraft Tavern lists ten. Alliance: Shadowshard Fragments from Archmage Tervosh in Dustwallow Marsh, Corruption of Earth and Seed from Keeper Marandis, and Vyletongue Corruption from Talendria, both in Desolace. Horde: Shadowshard Fragments from Uthel'nay in Orgrimmar, Vyletongue Corruption from Vark Battlescar and Corruption of Earth and Seed from Selendra. Open to both: Twisted Evils from Willow, The Pariah's Instructions from the Centaur Pariah, and, inside the dungeon, Legends of Maraudon from Cavindra and The Scepter of Celebras from Celebras the Redeemed. The Alliance leveling zones and Horde leveling zones guides show where the quest hubs lie.
What is the story of Maraudon?
Warcraft Wiki says Zaetar, a son of Cenarius, and the earth elemental Princess Theradras are at the center of the story. The centaur khans killed Zaetar, and his nephew Celebras was corrupted. WoW Is Classic gives the same outline of Zaetar, Theradras and the centaur. For the father, read the Cenarius story. The free Lore Forever add-on adds readable quest background; it is fan-made.
