WoW Forever Launch Time Canada and Latin America (Nov 4)
World of Warcraft: Forever (WoW Forever) launched on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg, 5:00 p.m. in Calgary and Mexico City, 4:00 p.m. in Vancouver and 8:00 p.m. in Brasília, Buenos Aires and Santiago. It was one global moment, 3:00 p.m. PST, which is 23:00 UTC. This page answers "wow forever launch time Canada" and Latin America as of November 5, 2026.
Quick answer: Subtract your UTC offset from 23:00 on November 4. The catch is Canada: British Columbia no longer matches the Pacific clock in the United States, and Alberta, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories changed their rules in 2026. Blizzard's table names the Americas (PST); no Canadian or Latin American city appears in it.

Key facts
- Global launch: November 4, 2026, 3:00 p.m. PST, 23:00 UTC (Blizzard)
- Blizzard's table: Americas (PST) 3:00 p.m. on November 4; the English version is reported to add a Brazil (BRT) row at 8:00 p.m. (GamerFuzion), which I could not re-open
- Daylight saving: ended November 1 in the United States (Mexperience) and in most of Canada (Daily Hive)
What time did WoW Forever launch in Canada?
- Newfoundland (NST): 7:30 p.m. (time zone database)
- Atlantic (Halifax): 7:00 p.m.
- Ontario and Quebec (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal): 6:00 p.m. EST
- Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories: 5:00 p.m., UTC-6 (the time zone database records Alberta and the Northwest Territories as permanent UTC-6; Daily Hive says Saskatchewan has used Central Standard Time since 1966)
- Manitoba: 6:00 p.m., UTC-5; Manitoba's government says the province stopped changing clocks on November 1
- British Columbia and Yukon: 4:00 p.m., UTC-7. The B.C. government says its March 8, 2026 clock change was the last and that the zone is UTC-7 year-round. Southeast B.C. (East Kootenay and Golden) follows Alberta at UTC-6, so 5:00 p.m., per the B.C. government.
Why is Vancouver at 4:00 p.m. and not 3:00 p.m.?
Because B.C. stopped changing its clocks. The provincial release puts it at seven hours behind UTC all year, one hour ahead of US Pacific time on November 4.
What about Manitoba and northwestern Ontario?
Manitoba's government says Manitoba Standard Time is UTC-5 all year and that on November 1, 2026, Manitobans did not turn their clocks back. The time zone database (release 2026e onward) agrees, and Daily Hive and immigrationnewscanada match, so Winnipeg read 6:00 p.m., the same as Toronto. Version 2026c of the time zone database, from July, still shows 5:00 p.m., so an out-of-date tool can be wrong.
What time did it launch in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile?
- Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara: 5:00 p.m. (Mexperience: Mexico City aligns with US Central time after November 1)
- Baja California (Tijuana): 3:00 p.m., following the US; Cancún 6:00 p.m.
- Brazil (Brasília): 8:00 p.m. (UTC-3, no summer time; GamerFuzion reports a Brazil (BRT) row in Blizzard's English table)
- Argentina and Uruguay: 8:00 p.m. (UTC-3)
- Chile: 8:00 p.m. Pauta reports summer time began September 5, moving mainland Chile from UTC-4 to UTC-3
- Colombia and Peru: 6:00 p.m. (UTC-5)
What happened at launch for the Americas?
Blizzard published no queue numbers. Blizzard Watch reported a login queue, intermittent lag and servers "a tiny bit later than scheduled". TimeSaver, a seller site compiling player reports, says players saw "Login Servers are Full" from about 23:02 UTC, with positions from roughly 660 to 2,000. That is about 6:02 p.m. in Toronto and 5:02 p.m. in Mexico City (my conversion), unconfirmed by Blizzard. See launch day queues and errors and realms and regions.
What is not confirmed
- Blizzard's Canadian English and Mexican Spanish pages, opened after launch, carry no regional table, so every Canadian and Latin American time is a conversion.
- Newfoundland, Cancún, Argentina, Colombia and Peru come from the time zone database only (version 2026f, checked with a script).
How can the Lore Forever add-on and Willo help?
The free Lore Forever add-on adds readable and recorded stories for zones, cities and dungeons. It has no internet access, and its narrators are generated voices. Willo is a separate companion app for Windows 10 or 11; her page also lists an Apple Silicon Mac download (macOS 12 or later), and her FAQ now says Windows and Mac, though CurseForge still calls her a Windows app. She is free to start with 50 answers a day. Both are fan-made, not affiliated with Blizzard, and Willo can be wrong.
