Muradin Bronzebeard
Muradin Bronzebeard was the brother of King Magni Bronzebeard and Brann Bronzebeard, as well as a renowned warrior, diplomat, and co-founder of the Explorers' League. Revered across Khaz Modan and Lordaeron alike, he is believed to have died in the frozen wastes of Northrend when Prince Arthas Menethil claimed the cursed runeblade Frostmourne.
A Brother and Ambassador
Muradin fought with distinction during the Second War, acting as the vital liaison between the mountain halls of Khaz Modan and the Alliance of Lordaeron. He helped hold Ironforge during the Horde's siege and marched alongside Alliance forces all the way through Blackrock Spire to the Dark Portal. In the peaceful years that followed, Muradin settled into Capital City as Ironforge’s official ambassador. Jovial yet formidable, he became a fixture in the palace, growing close to King Terenas Menethil and taking it upon himself to tutor young Prince Arthas in the arts of swordplay and combat.
The Explorers' League and Northrend
Beyond politics and war, Muradin possessed a restless curiosity. Alongside his brothers, he helped establish the dwarven Explorers' League, dedicated to uncovering lost titan relics and chronicling the distant corners of the world. He fell in love with the desolate, windswept continent of Northrend, making frequent journeys north to sketch ancient architecture and document its fierce inhabitants. It was Northrend's rugged mysteries that ultimately drew him on his final expedition, seeking out lore, relics, and the whispered legend of a forgotten runeblade.
