Whelgar's Excavation Site

Whelgar's Excavation Site is a dwarven archaeological dig in the eastern hills of the Wetlands. Intended to unearth ancient Titan relics and prehistoric secrets, the expedition ended in disaster when vicious mottled raptors overran the quarry. The surviving excavators are now trapped on a ridge overlooking the dig, cut off from their findings.

Spearheaded by dwarven prospectors searching for ancient fossils and earthen mysteries, the excavation carved out a massive quarry between Menethil Harbor and Dun Modr. However, unearthing prehistoric remnants drew the wrath of native mottled raptors. Overwhelmed and under-equipped, the archaeologists retreated to a ridge overlooking the dig site, leaving their tents, tools, and unearthed relics scattered among prowling predators.
