Sarltooth's Talon
Sarltooth's Talon is a severed claw taken from the alpha raptor lurking above Whelgar's Excavation Site in the Wetlands. It serves as tangible proof for the dwarf Ormer Ironbraid that the vicious beast responsible for overrunning the archaeological dig has been slain.
A Trophy of Vengeance
When raptors overran Whelgar's Excavation Site and butchered the dwarven expedition, Ormer Ironbraid watched from the ridge above, unable to prevent the slaughter. He singled out one massive, menacing raptor—Sarltooth—as the likely pack leader behind the assault. Seeking retribution for his fallen kin, Ormer demanded the beast's death and requested one of its vicious talons as proof of the deed. Severing this claw marks the end of Sarltooth's reign of terror over the ancient dwarven ruins.
