Merrin Rockweaver

Merrin Rockweaver traveled to the Wetlands on behalf of the Ironforge Explorers' League to unearth ancient Titan secrets buried beneath the muck. The expedition ended in disaster when the large bones they unearthed drew raptors to the dig. Vicious prehistoric beasts swarmed the trenches, forcing Merrin and the surviving crew to abandon their equipment, notes, and progress. She is now trapped with the few survivors on a bluff overlooking the overrun ruins.

Trapped on the bluff, the survivors refuse to let the expedition become an outright failure. While Ormer Ironbraid plots vengeance against the beasts and Prospector Whelgar seeks the tablet fragments left behind in the raptor-infested trenches, Merrin's thoughts turn to her husband Tarrel, who has not heard from her in weeks. She relies on the scout Longbraid sent to find the team to carry word of their plight back to him.
