Twilight Vale

Twilight Vale encompasses the dense, shadowed southern woodlands of Darkshore stretching toward the Ashenvale border. Beneath its gloom, corrupted furbolgs, rabid bears, and vicious nightsabers prowl the undergrowth, making off-road passage perilous. It serves as a grim threshold between the tainted coast of Darkshore and the sacred canopies to the south.

Running from the south of the ancient ruins of Ameth'Aran all the way to the border of Ashenvale, the Twilight Vale blankets the southern reaches of Darkshore in perpetual dusk. The encroaching corruption plaguing northern Kalimdor has bitten deep into the wildlife here. Rabid bears roam alongside feral nightsabers, and hostile furbolg tribes stalk the dark wood. Sentinels and travelers alike advise sticking strictly to the main road, as straying even a few paces into the trees invites swift and deadly ambushes.
