Theramore Isle
Theramore Isle is a heavily fortified human port citadel off the eastern coast of Dustwallow Marsh. Founded by Lady Jaina Proudmoore for refugees escaping the fall of Lordaeron, it stands as the Alliance's primary bastion in southern Kalimdor.
Refuge of the West
Following the devastation of Dalaran and Lordaeron by the Scourge during the Third War, Lady Jaina Proudmoore guided a fleet of survivors across the Great Sea to the shores of Kalimdor. After fighting alongside orcs and night elves to defeat the Burning Legion atop Mount Hyjal, her coalition of humans, dwarves, and high elves retreated to the misty fringes of Dustwallow Marsh. On a jagged island just off the coast, they built Theramore Isle—a thriving harbor city anchored by towering stone ramparts and Jaina's personal citadel, created to safeguard what remained of the northern kingdoms.
