Shimmer Ridge

Shimmer Ridge is a rugged highland nestled in northern Dun Morogh, directly west of the Gates of Ironforge. Occupied by hostile Frostmane trolls, the rocky heights consist of two camps joined by a rickety bridge and are renowned as the sole harvesting ground for potent shimmerweed.

Perched along the craggy slopes just west of Ironforge's mighty entryway, Shimmer Ridge serves as an active redoubt for the Frostmane troll tribe. Divided into twin camps straddling a chasm and linked by a wooden span, the enclave is heavily guarded by troll scavengers and their tamed mountain boars. Their proximity to the main roadway and the dwarven capital poses a continuous nuisance to travelers and mountain patrols, who must constantly remain on guard against opportunistic raids from the high ground.
