Kharanos is a bustling mountain settlement nestled in the snowy heart of Dun Morogh, just down the road from Ironforge. Serving as the primary hub for travelers leaving Coldridge Valley, the town hosts a forge, gnomish workshops, and the famous Thunderbrew Distillery.

Situated along the central road of Dun Morogh, Kharanos is the first true town welcoming recruits arriving from Anvilmar. Despite the biting cold and biting winds, the settlement thrives thanks to local dwarven grit and gnomish ingenuity. It centers around a roaring public forge and the Thunderbrew Distillery, renowned across the eastern mountains for producing some of the finest ale in Khaz Modan. Between bustling crafters and weary travelers seeking warmth, the town stands as the essential staging ground for business in the lower peaks.
