Coldridge Pass

Coldridge Pass is a rugged, snowbound tunnel cutting through the southern mountain ridge of Dun Morogh. It serves as the sole overland route connecting the secluded training grounds of Coldridge Valley to the rest of the kingdom, emerging near the bustling town of Kharanos. Because hostile troggs have overrun the passage, any traveler attempting the journey must either fight their way through or make a desperate dash for the other side.

For young dwarven recruits and gnome novices taking their first steps beyond Coldridge Valley, Coldridge Pass is a harsh rite of passage. Chiseled straight through the rock, this tunnel forms the primary link sending newly trained adventurers eastward toward the frontier hub of Kharanos. What was once a secure mountain corridor has become a perilous choke point, infested with aggressive troggs that have pushed up from dark sub-terrains to menace any soul trying to travel between the sheltered valley and the wider reaches of Dun Morogh.
