Shimmerweed

High above the lowlands of Dun Morogh, the Frostmane trolls tend patches of shimmerweed along the icy crags of Shimmer Ridge. The trolls harvest and store the plant in woven baskets scattered throughout their camps, relying on it to fuel their sacred and enigmatic rituals. Outside of troll society, few mountaineers pay the weed much mind, though its potent properties have drawn the gaze of inventive outsiders.

In nearby Brewnall Village, brewmaster Rejold Barleybrew has taken a keen interest in the herb. Believing that brewing is in his blood, Rejold seeks to craft the ultimate dwarven stout and suspects that the pungent, unmistakable flavor of shimmerweed might be the missing piece. He frequently hires adventurous travelers to slip into the Frostmane encampments, dodge the hostile trolls, and haul back bushels to dump into his fermenting vats.
