Moonwell (Ashenvale)
The story
Hear this one in game: get Lore Forever.
This secluded shrine, known to the night elves as the Moonwell of Purity, rests in central Ashenvale east of Iris Lake and west of Raynewood Retreat. Its blessed waters channel the grace of Elune to nourish the ancient forest and cleanse creeping foulness from the land. Alliance travelers and night elf sentinels often seek out its tranquil basin to purify corrupted artifacts found in the woodland.
Tucked away beneath the canopy of central Ashenvale, this moonwell serves as a spiritual anchor for the kaldorei. Its luminescent waters tap into nature's latent magic and the light of the Moon Goddess. As the surrounding forest suffers from satyr corruption, fel taint, and logging incursions, pure shrines like this one become vital lifelines for those trying to heal the woods.
