Greenpaw Village

Greenpaw Village is a furbolg settlement nestled in central Ashenvale, situated between Raynewood Retreat and Silverwind Refuge. It serves as the primary home of the Foulweald tribe, led by Chief Murgut and the shaman Oakpaw. Gripped by demonic corruption and embattled by outside forces, the village is an active conflict point for both Alliance and Horde travelers.

Situated south of Raynewood Retreat and northeast of Silverwind Refuge, Greenpaw Village was once a quiet home for the forest's ursine denizens. In the wake of the Third War, its resident furbolgs—the Foulweald tribe—succumbed to the insidious corruption tainting Ashenvale's soil and spirits. Under the dominion of Chief Murgut and their corrupted spiritual guide, Shaman Oakpaw, the Foulweald have become hostile and unstable, attacking any travelers who stray into their forest territory.
