Moonshrine Ruins

The Moonshrine Ruins are a flooded expanse of ancient night elven architecture deep within Blackfathom Deeps. Once dedicated to the worship of Elune, these crumbling halls have been desecrated and seized by the Twilight's Hammer cult.

Past the cavernous Pool of Ask'ar lies the Moonshrine Ruins, a somber testament to the night elves' ancient past along the Ashenvale coast. These partially submerged halls once rang with chants honoring the Moon Goddess Elune, but the Great Sundering shattered the temple and drowned its lower levels in sea water. Today, the murky waters churn with feral aquatic beasts, from aggressive crabs to serpentine threshadons, while the Twilight's Hammer cult maintains an active presence throughout the stones, bent on dark rituals that mock the shrine's sacred origin.
