Pool of Ask'ar

The Pool of Ask'ar is a sprawling, submerged cavern lake located deep within Blackfathom Deeps. Teeming with aquatic beasts and foul naga invaders, its waters conceal ancient night elven architecture alongside hidden passageways that wind deeper into the corrupted sanctuary.

Situated just beyond the Drowned Sacellum, the Pool of Ask'ar fills a massive subterranean vault with murky, cold water. The natural caverns and ancient stonework have become a nesting ground for oversized snapping turtles and deep-sea crabs, overseen by the enormous ancient chelonian known as Ghamoo-ra. The naga who have taken over the temple utilize this submerged threshold as a defensive staging ground, guarding the waterlogged approaches that lead deeper into the complex toward Lady Sarevess and the Moonshrine Ruins.
