Moonbrook

Once a bustling agricultural hub and mining town in southwestern Westfall, Moonbrook now stands as a lawless ghost town. The town has been completely overrun by the Defias Brotherhood, who use it as a fortified screen to hide their subterranean headquarters in the Deadmines.

Before the First War, Moonbrook was a vital community at the center of Westfall's breadbasket, supporting local farming families and the lucrative gold shafts of the Deadmines. Though it was razed by the Old Horde and painstakingly rebuilt after the Second War, its peace did not last. Neglected by the House of Nobles in Stormwind and stripped of military protection, the settlement could not resist the vengeful Stonemasons Guild when they fled into the wilderness. Bandits drove out the honest homesteaders, forcing citizens and teachers alike to flee toward Sentinel Hill and Elwynn Forest.
