Highperch

Highperch is an elevated plateau in western Thousand Needles, towering high above the canyon floor. It is renowned as a primary nesting ground for wild wyverns and wind riders. The roost is home to fierce prides defending their young among the windswept crags.

Rising sharply out of the canyon floor, Highperch is a rugged sanctuary for Kalimdor's native wyverns. The plateau provides natural defense against predators and an unobstructed launch point for their hunting flights across Thousand Needles. Within its reaches, wyvern prides live under the protection of watchful patriarchs and matriarchs, tending to nests filled with pridelings. The beasts fiercely defend their territory against any intruders who manage to climb into their high domain.
