Highperch Venom Sac

The high spires of Thousand Needles house thriving prides of wild wyverns, particularly around the elevated crags of Highperch. These winged predators rely on powerful venom delivered through their barbed tails to paralyze and kill prey. While the Horde often domesticates these creatures as loyal wind riders, their venom sacs command a remarkably high price among alchemists, hunters, and opportunistic merchants across Kalimdor.

Though native to the deep canyons of central Kalimdor, this venom draws interest far beyond them. In the port town of Theramore, the high elf Fiora Longears pays handsomely for fresh sacs collected from Highperch's broods. She seeks samples swollen with venom—typically found only on young wyverns or fertile females—fueling trade in dangerous reagents far from the beasts' natural desert habitat.
