Forest's Edge

Forest's Edge is a wooded wedge of land along the southwestern frontier of Elwynn Forest, flanked by rivers leading toward Westfall. Guarded to the north by Westbrook Garrison, this untamed area has become dangerously overrun by riverpaw gnolls under the command of the notorious Hogger.

Tucked southwest of Stormwind City between Mirror Lake Orchard and the rivers bordering Westfall, Forest's Edge forms a natural peninsula of woodland. Despite its proximity to Westbrook Garrison, the Stormwind army's thin ranks have left the area vulnerable to wild beasts and raiding parties. Wandering boars roam among the trees and along the riverbanks, but the true menace is the concentration of Riverpaw gnolls who have made these woods their staging ground.
