Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake is a body of water lying just east of Goldshire in the heart of Elwynn Forest. While once a peaceful spot, its shores have been overrun by aggressive murlocs, turning it into a frequent hazard for local villagers and passing travelers.

Situated within walking distance of Lion's Pride Inn, Crystal Lake should be an idyllic rural retreat, but it is plagued by dangerous wildlife. Tribes of freshwater murlocs have claimed the shoreline and shallow shoals, attacking anyone who strays too close. Local alchemist William Pestle frequently hires passing adventurers to venture to the water's edge, directing them to defeat the creatures and harvest the crystal kelp they carry for use in his experimental concoctions.
