Cleft

The Cleft is a darkened hollow located northwest of Dolanaar in Teldrassil. Once a tranquil corner of the boughs, it has been claimed by the corrupted Gnarlpine furbolgs, who use it as a stronghold to ambush travelers moving along the main highway toward Darnassus.

Situated off the highway between Dolanaar and Darnassus, the Cleft has turned into one of the most perilous dens on the world tree. Driven mad by the foul taint spreading through Teldrassil, the resident Gnarlpine furbolgs have fortified this subterranean rift under the command of their vicious chieftain, Ursal the Mauler. From this redoubt, the maddened beasts terrorize the local roads, capturing unvigilant night elves and threatening to cut Dolanaar off from the capital.
