Beggar's Haunt

The story

Beggar's Haunt is an abandoned Stormwind scout tower perched on a hillside in northeastern Duskwood, near the mountain road to Deadwind Pass. While originally built to keep watch over the kingdom's eastern borders, it has become an outpost for Forsaken infiltrators deep within Alliance territory.

Perched above the foggy hills east of Manor Mistmantle, Beggar's Haunt was once an active observation post manned by the Stormwind Guard to secure the eastern approaches to the realm. As Grand Hamlet collapsed into the gloom of modern Duskwood and kingdom patrols withdrew to Darkshire, the stone tower was abandoned to the elements. Today, its commanding vantage point serves a far more sinister purpose: agents of the Forsaken, including members of the Royal Apothecary Society and Deathstalkers, use the ruined stronghold to conduct research and monitor the region under the Alliance's nose.
