The Legend of Stalvan

This errand marks a turning point in uncovering the history of Stalvan Mistmantle, sending investigators from Elwynn Forest back into the shadowed town of Darkshire. Guided by Marshal Haggard's memory of his service days, you bring a recovered journal page to Tavernkeep Smitts at the Scarlet Raven Tavern to identify the chilling handwriting.

I know of someone who might be able to assist you. Back when I was leading the Stormwind Guard, we used to get drinks at the Scarlet Raven Tavern in Darkshire. The Innkeeper there, Smitts, was quite an expert on the local lore. Show him this page and see what he has to say about it.

Marshal Haggard sent you? Why didn't you say so?
