Tavernkeep Smitts

Tavernkeep Smitts is the barkeep of the Scarlet Raven Tavern in Darkshire. Operating at the social center of Duskwood, Smitts possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of town gossip and unsolved local tragedies. His long memory and keen eye make him an invaluable contact for anyone investigating the region's dark history.

Behind the bar of the Scarlet Raven Tavern, Tavernkeep Smitts offers warm hearth fires and drink to the weary travelers, local townspeople, and nervous Night Watch guards braving Duskwood's perils. As one of the longest-standing public faces in town, Smitts hears every rumor that filters through the gloom. While other townsfolk shrink behind locked shutters, Smitts maintains a pragmatic, observant eye on everyone who passes through his door, noting unusual behavior, hurried departures, and strange patrons.
