Viscous Fallout

Viscous Fallout is a corrupted water elemental wandering the irradiated corridors of Gnomeregan. Once a pure spirit inhabiting the city's pristine aquifers, it was twisted into a toxic monstrosity by Mekgineer Thermaplugg's devastating radiation release.

Before the fall of Gnomeregan, the gnomish capital relied on sophisticated, intricate waterways and clean subterranean aquifers to power and sustain its mechanical marvels. A solitary water elemental dwelt peacefully within this pristine water supply. When the radiation vents were opened on Mekgineer Thermaplugg's treacherous advice to wipe out the invading troggs, the resulting chemical contamination seeped deep into the city's reservoirs, trapping the elemental and corrupting its very substance.
