Veronica Nials
Captain Veronica Nials is an officer of the Stromgarde military stationed at Refuge Pointe in the Arathi Highlands. Amid the kingdom's collapse, she coordinates defensive operations against the Syndicate and ogres that overrun the fallen capital.
Defender of a Broken Realm
Following the Third War, the human kingdom of Stromgarde shattered, leaving its remnants struggling to survive against invading Boulderfist ogres and the treachery of the Syndicate. Captain Veronica Nials stands as one of the central commanders of the surviving Stromgarde defenders at Refuge Pointe. Tasked with holding the line, she directs Alliance champions against key Syndicate leadership, such as Lord Falconcrest and the warlock Marez Cowl, while striving to recover fallen soldiers' badges so their grieving families can find closure.
A Plea Denied
Captain Nials's loyalties are strictly tied to her battered homeland. When Rhag Garmason and the dwarven defenders of Dun Modr begged for Stromgarde's assistance after Dark Iron saboteurs devastated the Thandol Span, Nials was forced to turn them away. Bound by honor and duty, her troops cannot spare a single blade beyond the Arathi Highlands while their own ancestral kingdom remains occupied.
