Tonga Runetotem

Tonga Runetotem is a knowledgeable tauren druid stationed outside the inn at the Crossroads in the Barrens. Dispatched from Thunder Bluff, he investigates an unnatural corruption seeping into the region's sparse oases and sickening the native wildlife. His research aims to trace the spiritual disturbance back to its origin before the delicate ecosystem collapses entirely.

Amid the dust and bustling commerce of the Crossroads, Tonga Runetotem keeps a quiet vigil. Sent down from the high mesas of Mulgore by his elders in Thunder Bluff, Tonga possesses an intimate understanding of the arid savannah. Where others see only barren scrub and predatory beasts, he reads the subtle currents of the land's health. In recent times, those currents have soured dramatically, compelling him to recruit capable travelers to investigate the heart of the savannah's life: its isolated oases.
