Mutanus the Devourer

Mutanus the Devourer is a monstrous, pale murloc manifested directly from the Emerald Nightmare. Lurking in the darkest recesses of the sleeping druid Naralex's mind, it emerges to devour anyone attempting to break the Nightmare's hold over the Wailing Caverns. Slaying this twisted aberration is the final step in freeing Naralex from his tormented slumber.

When the night elf druid Naralex tapped into the underground springs beneath the Barrens, he aimed to restore life to the arid wastes by connecting them to the Emerald Dream. Instead, an ancient corruption known as the Emerald Nightmare invaded his thoughts. Trapped in an agonizing vision, Naralex's subconscious fears took physical form. The corruption seized upon a bizarre, primal revulsion in the druid's psyche—his deep-seated terror of murlocs—and amplified it into an immense, albino predator.
