Archbishop Benedictus
Archbishop Benedictus is the supreme spiritual leader of the Church of the Holy Light, presiding over the faithful from the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City. Once the devoted student of Archbishop Alonsus Faol, he now guides the moral and religious heart of the Alliance during a time of immense uncertainty.
Shepherd of the Holy Light
Benedictus rose to leadership following the death of his revered mentor, Archbishop Alonsus Faol. Having witnessed the devastation of the First and Second Wars, Benedictus helped oversee the construction of the grand Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City, vowing to preserve the virtues of the faith. With the fall of Lordaeron and the rise of the Scourge during the Third War, the weight of the human kingdoms' spiritual guidance fell squarely on his shoulders. From his altar, he offers counsel to the royal court, trains newly initiated priests, and directs holy crusades against the undead and demonic forces threatening Azeroth.
A Beacon of Hope
Regarded across the Alliance as a gentle, wise, and benevolent patriarch, Benedictus presents an unyielding beacon of hope to the public, rallying heroes to vanquish dark threats such as Amnennar the Coldbringer in Kalimdor and assisting in purifying cursed relics brought by faithful adventurers.
