Mudsnout Composite is an alchemical paste prepared by Apothecary Lydon in Tarren Mill from harvested Mudsnout Blossoms. It serves as an essential base ingredient carried to the Undercity for the Royal Apothecary Society's research into a new plague.
A Base for Decay
Crafted in the field by Apothecary Lydon, this fine composite is derived directly from Mudsnout Blossoms gathered in the Hillsbrad Foothills. While noxious on its own, the mash requires a specialized colloid of decay—concocted by Master Apothecary Faranell himself—to activate its more lethal qualities. Once bound, the mixture forms a key chemical component in the development of the Dark Lady's Elixir of Agony.
