Mudsnout Blossom
Mudsnout Blossoms are pungent, toxic fungal growths found sprouting in Nethander Stead in the Hillsbrad Foothills. Guarded by local gnolls and harvested by the Royal Apothecary Society, these foul mushrooms are used in Apothecary Lydon's elixir research.
A Toxic Fungus
Despite their floral name, Mudsnout Blossoms are actually large, foul-smelling mushrooms that flourish primarily in the soiled dirt of Nethander Stead, south of Tarren Mill. They grow amidst the camps of the local Mudsnout gnolls, who defend the territory fiercely. To living organisms, the spores and flesh of the mushroom act as a virulent poison, causing agony and rapid biological deterioration.
