Daggerspine Scale
A Daggerspine Scale is a tough reptilian scale harvested from the Daggerspine naga prowling the southern shores of the Hillsbrad Foothills. Sought after by the Royal Apothecary Society, these scales serve as a crucial catalyst to activate virulent brews in the Forsaken's ongoing plague experiments.
Apothecary Research
The Royal Apothecary Society constantly seeks biological reagents to enhance their toxins, plagues, and concoctions. When refining the experimental brew known as the Elixir of Agony, the apothecaries discovered that scales taken from the local Daggerspine naga possessed unique reactive properties. When combined with troll regenerative elixirs and murloc organs, the scales help chemically activate dormant contaminating agents suspended in raw mixtures. Procuring them requires hunting along the rocky coastline east of Southshore, braving both the vicious naga tribe and nearby Alliance forces.
